Incident records are provided at province, district and neighbourhood level. Location is given at most at the level of the official neighbourhood name, and dates are given by month.

Founder
Calisma.org was founded by Dr. Hüseyin Zeyd Koytak, a sociologist. Koytak completed a PhD in the Department of Sociology at Syracuse University, a BA at Boğaziçi University and an MA at İstanbul Şehir University, and previously served as a visiting faculty member at the University of Mississippi.
Koytak’s research focuses on inequality, spatial hierarchies, migration, local politics and computational social science methods. Detailed information on Koytak’s academic work and publications is available at koytak.com.
